He was IT, she worked in accounting

His cubicle was down the hall

Sometimes they ran into each other

At the water cooler or the elevator

He knew she blogged on cinema verite

After the meal they went to the movies

But there were a lot more sex scenes than one would have thought

Thank god it was dark cause they both blushed

And fiddled with their popcorn and waited for the credits to wane

She kicked herself when she couldnt stop talking

But there was something between them that showed

That they couldnt mess it up cause it plainly was the work of fate

And maybe her cardigan didnt get the memo that the eighties had been over for a

while maybe he fell a little short of cassanova but he paid her compliments and

made her smile like two pieces of a puzzle put together from above
