Dreams of the promised land fade, leaving

Only pain, the memory grinds at his conscious

He’s bounded in paralysis, surrounded by blackened forms

Of the dead, from down below he stares at the sky

Light piercing through the shadow becomes dim

The dream fades as his eyes open

Harrowing winds graze across his face

His eyes are open, awakening beneath the mist

Of a far away land

His body blackened and burned

Erupted from volcanic fire and thrown into the sea

A stellar light through the veil

Bleeding as he draws near, an assemblage of ancient priests

Surmonizing, they utter in tongues, staring back at him

Gouging veins, they feast upon the blood spilling from their wrists

Crimson blooming, they paint the ground in demonic emblems

His mind trapped inside the vortex of blood

Crawling forth from a burning nest

The dark lord emerges to the surface

Slithering upon his abdomen, he is
