Amidst these erected concrete wastelands

That your footsteps plow to sow your barren dreams

As well as those stellar shipwrecks flickering afar

That drifts in the idle, perfunctory current of the ages

And amidst this stumbling procession of thoughts and lives

And worlds and broken fingernails

Dust

Yes, amidst all this, it came to pass

That Eternity was stolen

And punctuated

The abyss awoke and spoke it’s name

Piercing the breath of the soul and the tissue of time

A steel-eyed horror nailing history’s scalp

Upon the crooked crux of all destinies aligned

A spark in the alley of dry ash trees

Stretching out into meaningless obscurity

Uprooted and aflame at the end of this grave descent

At the absolute nadir of the firmament

As Everything out from nothing became something

Or Something out from nothing became everything

The feral winds flee the fetching hand yet

Ever in a moment God bends beneath my tongue

And say:

I AM THAT I AM

Amidst this funeral sty that you claim to be your home

And amidst this yawning chasm of silence that you’ve flooded with your moans

Now — here: Nowhere

Death unlocks like a blazing charm of

Uncoiled, dawn, star

And traceless lightning

Traceless lightning between all that must or ought
