The Awakening -

You open your eyes

in the dark of the night,

you feel the sweat down your face.

You rise from your bed,

you look to your side

and you see yourself still laying there.

You try to wake your frozen body to life

Nothing you do seems to go trully right.

You shout out loud and your screams echo in your mind

Desperation strikes upon your soul.

He runs through the door and steps into the void

He keeps on his pace, darkness is all that he sees.

Lonely and tired, he falls on his knees,

raise your hand to God and cry your pleas.

And when everything seemed to be nothing,

A flame grew strong in the horizon.

He smiled, thanking the heavens,

only to find that his friend was a foe.

No matter how he ran, the ice maiden mounting

the flaming horse always came closer and closer

when he felt her icy fingers on his neck,

the ground beneath his feat ceased to exist.
