Speak requiems through me

Through flower mouthed kings with vines for crowns

Through splintered forked tongues

Through bloodied soil, mutilation pure

Roses bloom in the mouth of every king

And the thorns will feed off every gut and vertebrae of the earth

Every gut of earth

The earth will feed off our skin and from our bodies will grow

Rip out the stems and the leaves and let come spring trees

I’ve always been the thief, so let the earth feed off me
